School Project in Tibet

It all began in 2010 when I "accidentally" met Erang Rinpoche, who holds the title of Living Buddha, on the eastern coast of China. Within the first few seconds, I felt a strong connection and sensed that I had "known" this Buddhist lama for a long time.

I received his business card with a rainbow mandala, and two years later, in 2012, I decided to visit him in an unexplored area of Tibet at an altitude of 5,000 meters. After weeks of investigating and searching for the lama's location, I found Erang Rinpoche. In the green hills covered with flowers at this impressive altitude, there is a monastery, a school, and a village. Two days later, Rinpoche arrived and greeted me with the question: "Shall we have tea?" The bond was just as strong as before and remains so to this day.

I spent several weeks with the lama, visiting his school for orphans and children from impoverished families who would otherwise remain without education. Every year, Rinpoche travels across the country to raise funds for the school's tuition and operations.

During my visit, the school was under construction.

And the children were studying in large tents.

The children are also provided with food.

During our farewell, I agreed with Rinpoche that in return, I would invite him to my home in Prague, Czech Republic. After several unsuccessful visa applications, Rinpoche received his visa in 2018 and flew to Prague. Until then, Rinpoche had only been to India and Nepal. He immediately fell in love with Prague and eagerly admired its beauty. His favorite food was Czech bread with butter. The three white doves in the photo suddenly appeared, perched on Rinpoche, and then flew away.

With love, he imparted his teachings and blessings even in Prague.

He brought photos of the completed school building with him. Looking at its beauty, I burst into tears.

This is how the incredible place looks like.

I decided to write a book about my life and this extraordinary story. It is called "Fairy Tales of My Life," and it is available as a printed book, e-book, and audio version.

I am still in touch with Rinpoche...
